Sheldon Tate, Ed.D is a dynamic leader in campus recreation with a wealth of experience and a strong commitment to fostering student success. Sheldon champions inclusive environments and impactful programs nationwide. With expertise spanning recreation, student affairs, higher education, executive coaching, and research, he has developed a reputation for culture-building, strategic planning, and project management.
Sheldon’s leadership extends to managing diverse teams in fast-paced settings, always with a focus on relationship-building and personal growth. Known for his passion, engaging personality, and ability to inspire others, he is driven by a desire to make a meaningful impact—just as others did for him early in his career.
Sheldon holds a Master’s in Leisure Services Management from Oklahoma State University, a Bachelor’s in Kinesiology from the University of North Texas, and recently earned his Doctorate in Higher Education Leadership from Texas Christian University. Outside of his professional endeavors, he enjoys reading, traveling, and trying to keep up with his wife and four kids.
Devin Tate is an accomplished leader with deep expertise in business and financial operations. With extensive experience in organizational development, strategic planning, and operational efficiency, she excels at fostering accountability and driving impactful change. Passionate about helping others reach their full potential, Devin’s straightforward approach is both empowering and results-driven.
Devin excels at leading teams in high-pressure environments, with a strong emphasis on accountability and maximizing individual strengths. Renowned for her practical approach and skill in handling tough conversations, she is motivated by a commitment to fostering sustainable success.
A U.S. Air Force veteran, she holds an MBA in Management and a BBA in Operations Management from American Intercontinental University. Outside of work, Devin enjoys Tex-Mex date nights with her husband, family movie nights, and diving into a good book.
